Homepage plugin (Obsidian)¶

The Homepage plugin is an extension for Obsidian that modifies the application's startup behavior.^[200-ob-plugin-homepage.md]

Functionality¶

By default, Obsidian typically reopens the last active note or file when the application launches. The Homepage plugin overrides this behavior by allowing the user to specify a particular note to open automatically on startup.^[200-ob-plugin-homepage.md] This ensures a consistent entry point or "dashboard" is displayed every time the vault is accessed.
