Overview¶
The tool serves as the centralized command-line interface for developers and users to discover, install, upgrade, remove, and configure applications on Windows 10 and Windows 11.^[600-developer__tools__windows__000-MOC-windows.md] It functions similarly to package managers found in other operating systems, such as apt for Debian-based Linux systems or brew for macOS, allowing for the automation of software management tasks directly from the terminal.^[600-developer-tools-windows-000-moc-windows.md]
